We will use the personally identifying information you provide (e.g., your name and email address) to allow you invite other registered users into your Immunet Community. When you invite a user to install an Immunet product, you provide us with their email address, which allows Immunet to send an email to that user on your behalf. We do not share any emails with outside parties.
Immunet Virus Detection
In order to detect viruses on your computer and to minimize the risk that new files you download from the Internet will infect your computer with viruses, we collect information about the files on your computer when your computer connects with the Immunet Cloud. After you install our products, we continue to collect information on new files that appear on your computer and those files which you attempt to execute (also known as Application Files). We do this in order to review whether these files are safe or not safe, and if not safe we notify you through the product that a file is deemed unsafe by Immunet. We also collect copies of suspected viruses from your computer if we do not already have knowledge of them in the Immunet Cloud. We limit our collection to executable files that are most likely to be malicious code threats. Further, in the event of a malfunction or crash in our software we transmit error log data to our cloud in order to analyze it and fix in-field bugs. These files do not typically contain private information. We do not collect documents or other files from your computer, and this collection is done purely in an effort to protect you better. The two protocols we use for these communications are DNS and HTTP.
Immunet Threats Blocked by You
We provide you with an updated number of the number of threats that you have detected and blocked directly on the computers that have installed Immunet Plus and are actively connected to the Immunet Cloud at any given time. We provide this threat count number to you and also to any community members you have invited into your Community. Your name, country of origin, and number of threats blocked data will appear in the Community page for any contacts that you have added to your community. Your contacts will not be able to communicate with you via Immunet Plus and your email address will be kept completely confidential.
Immunet Threats Blocked by Your Community
We provide you with an updated number of total threats blocked by all the people within your community and also by all the people within your country of origin.
